Harland Construction is a Hawkes Bay building firm, specialising in new house builds, home restoration, house extension and renovation and installing swimming pools in Hastings, Napier and Havelock North. They work hard to maintain their reputation as honest and intelligent builders who give customers results above expectations, every time.
Matt Harland, who heads up a strong team, has 20 years experience in building under his belt. He cut his teeth on the hills in Wellington, restoring old villas and constructing new houses, working closely with engineers and architects on the complex challenges of the landscape. After some years building luxury lodges in Taupo he moved to Hawkes Bay in 2009, built up his team, and Harland Construction has been building a great reputation and fine houses ever since.

Swimming Pool Design
The design of your swimming pool is very personal, and your options are limited only by your imagination and budget. We often recommend that you engage the services of an architect for more elaborate projects. However for smaller simpler swimming pools our draftsman is more than able to draw up some plans to meet your requirements.
Swimming Pool Construction
There are many ways to build a swimming pool and a huge variety of materials at our disposal. Often we are asked, “How long will it take to build?”. The answer depends on many factors, including location, size, shape, materials and the finish you require. Harland Construction alway endeavour to conform to the timelines we set at the beginning of each new build and will do all we can to have you throwing your first swimming party on the date we set out with.
Renovations
Renovations, Alterations and Additions
New kitchen, conservatory or house extension? Adding a second story to a house or building over a garage? Harland Construction are specialists in house renovation and alteration and no project is too big or too small.
Harland Construction have restored houses in Havelock North, Hastings and Napier. They have done house extensions and renovations to homes south in Martinborough, through the Wairarapa to Ekatahuna and north to Wairoa, Gisborne, Napier, Hastings, Havelock North and Taupo.
The key to stress-free house restoration is project management and that comes from experience. Harland Construction will oversee all aspects of your build and they will work with subcontractors to ensure everyone on site works professionally and to plan. You may need expert: tiler, plumber, painter, joiner, a roofer, plasterer, electrician or concrete placer.
Harland Construction has good relationships with reputable tradesmen in Hawkes Bay and will ensure all work is done to their very high standards. Adding a tennis court or swimming pool? Lovely! Harland Construction will guide you through the process and delight you with the result.
